Statement Of Faith
Members of the Association embrace these principles and agree to live them out:
(b) The one living God eternally existent in three persons in unity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
(c) In the Lord Jesus Christ,
His eternal co-existence with the Father and the Holy Spirit,
His virgin birth,
His human form while on earth,
His sinless life,
His atoning death,
His actual bodily resurrection from the dead,
His ascension to the right hand of God and His intercession there,
His expected return in accordance with the Scriptures
(d) The inherent corruptness of human nature through the fall, the necessity of personal repentance and regeneration
and the eternal separation from God of the finally impenitent.
(e) Justification and sanctification of the believer at the throne of God through faith in the finished work of Christ
(f) The sacraments of Baptism in water by immersion after repentance and of the Lord's Supper.
(g) The security of the believer as they abide in Christ.
(h) The empowering of the believer by the Holy Spirit and through the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
(i) Church leadership through the gifts of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, elders and deacons.
(j) The personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ and the eternal fellowship with Christ of all born-again
believers.
(k) Recognition of the Body of Christ as made up of all born- again, on-going believers, regardless of denomination.
(1) The place and involvement of every believer in the life and ministry of the church.
(m) The privilege of responsible giving in tithes and offerings.
(n) The essential spiritual unity of the universal Christian church, regardless of organisational affiliation.
